The concept of a Bluegrass Festival in North Creek was born in February 2004 by former Co-Chairman Joel Beaudin. Many years prior to that Co-Chairman, Rusty Leigh, also had a similar dream for the Town of Johnsburg. Fate and good luck brought these two entrepreneurs together and the Upper Hudson Bluegrass Festival was born!
In early 2007 the "Upper Hudson Festivals Inc." registered with the state of New York as a not for profit organization. This organization is dedicated to community service through the production of high quality musical festivals.

Surrounded
by the beautiful Adirondack mountains and set near the banks of the
pristine Upper Hudson River, the small village of North Creek is
gracious host to this musical event.
The township
of Johnsburg - home of Gore Mountain Ski Area, many white water rafting
companies and numerous hotels and restaurants - donates the spacious
site for this event, Ski Bowl Park .
The Ski Bowl
Park venue features a new pavilion, restrooms, space for parking up to
200 motor homes (sorry no hookups), ample auto parking and fantastic
views of the surrounding mountains.
Weekend parking
for motor homes and campers is complementary with the purchase of
weekend tickets. Potable water is available at the arrival site,
additional portable toilets are available throughout the site. Pumping
of black water tanks (for a fee) is available on Sunday afternoon.
